Poverty Hurts Appeal

Over the last two years, since the cost-of-living crisis began we have delivered over £180,000 in grants, supporting over 34,000 people in Gloucestershire communities.

But the need is still very real and continues to escalate as the high levels of demand for our funding from our charitable groups has continued to increase. On average, across Gloucestershire local authority areas 25.1% of children are living in poverty, with an increasing number living in working households.

To address the continuing need, we have pledged to raise another £100,000 to support people struggling to provide for themselves and their families living in Gloucestershire. Small amounts of money go a long way. We know, that with the help of our community GCF can make sure resources get to where they are most needed quickly and efficiently. This will help keep underfunded charities afloat, to prevent them from turning people away who have nowhere else to go.

We'll send you a tax receipt for your donation.
